Creating new results by creating a new you
A big part of creating new results in your business comes down to creating a new you from within.
The truth is, the version of you that built your business and created the results you have today isn’t the same version that will create the next level of success in your life. The mindset, habits, and beliefs that brought you this far will need an upgrade to take you where you want to go next.
I remember having this realization years ago when I watched the movie The Moses Code, where Reverend Michael Beckwith shared that in order to create new results, we must first become a new person on the inside.
That concept hit me right in the heart. Because as I look back, every big growth moment in my business required me to step into a new level of me. I had to hold myself accountable to evolving—internally—so I could create the external milestones I wanted to reach.
That’s why I want to share a simple yet powerful exercise with you. It’s one I’ve used for years to help my clients (and myself!) step into the next level of success with intention, clarity, and ease.

Creating new results by creating a new you
Your Current Self vs. Your Future Self
Here’s the exercise: Imagine yourself walking into an empty movie theater. You sit down in the darkened room, and a movie begins to play on the screen. But this isn’t just any movie—it’s a projection of you, as you are today. A movie about you from your mind’s eye, your perspective right now, your self-image.
Take a moment to really observe this version of yourself. How do you currently see yourself as a business owner? As a woman? As someone creating a life and legacy?
Write down what comes to mind:
- What do you think you’re capable of right now?
- What do you believe you deserve?
- What doubts do you have about what’s possible for you?
Let me say this loud and clear: this exercise isn’t about judgment, and it’s definitely not about negative self-talk. It’s about clarity. We can’t create new results if we don’t know where we’re starting from.
The You That’s Creating New Results
Now let’s take it one step further. Imagine the movie shifts, and instead of seeing yourself as you are today, you see the version of you who’s already living at the next level of success.
Who is she?
- How does she think?
- How does she carry herself? How does she dress?
- What does she believe about herself, her business, and her ability to create impact?
- How courageous is she? How big is her faith?
This is where the magic happens. By imagining the you who’s creating new results, you begin to bridge the gap between who you are today and who you need to become.
And here’s the truth: that version of you—the one who’s creating the results you desire—is already inside you. She’s waiting to emerge. All you have to do is start stepping into her, one small, courageous action at a time.
Creating New Results Starts Inside
This is one of the exercises that we do with our members in the mindset teachings—that we actually need to upgrade your self-image in order for you to upgrade your business, your life, and your revenues. Why? Because creating new results starts inside.
The way you see yourself—your self-image—determines how you show up in your business, the actions you take, and ultimately, the results you create.
This is why mindset work is such a foundational part of our programs. We don’t just focus on strategy or tactics, we go deeper. We work on shifting the internal beliefs and perceptions that shape your outcomes.
Here’s what I want you to know: if you feel stuck or like you’re spinning your wheels in your business, there’s nothing wrong with you. This is normal. Growth requires change, and change begins on the inside.
Ask yourself: Are you, today, the person who will create the results you desire?
If not, that’s okay. The important thing is to start moving in the direction of that future version of yourself.
This reflection is exactly what I’m doing in my own life and business right now. It’s what the women in our program are doing every single day. And I want you to join us.
Creating new results isn’t about working harder or doing more; it’s about becoming the version of you who can create those results with clarity, courage, and ease.
You’ve got this. Let’s go.
